I'm weighing myself daily for AWHILE too. I'm afraid I'll do "damage" and by the time I realize it, I'll have a mess. Everyone says don't do it, but I have to do what works for me . People may call it obsessive, I call it determination:) When I see my weight often it encourages me to keep it up or encourages me to change. I gotta lose then maintain!!! I know about salt and water retention too. I take that into account. Right now I'm friends with the scale and I'd like to keep it that way. The weight chart history on here is something I never had before?!?! Liking it.
