So the "boss" finally made a show - not in person though, on a text message!! Yeah, the swine just text to say not to come in anymore and he'll collect my keys and mobile this evening when he drops my personal belongings at my house! Ummmm no! I'll drop the keys and anything that belongs to work back at the office today and I'll collect my personal belongings thanks very much! I don't want him coming to my house, especially with a father who wants to throttle him and a husband who is furious with him! I don't think that would be a condusive environment in which to conduct business, do you? I think not!
The weekend went really well with only a minor indulgent moment on sunday. We went across to the cavery again because after an entire day of unpacking the last of the boxes from moving (there were in actul fact only two - the fish tank bits and Tony's tools) and cleaning every nook and cranny in the house I was tired and decided I was going on a cooking strike! I didn't over indulge, I just had this enourmous craving for a potato so I had two little roasty potato and they were just gorgeous! Yum Yum! Hopefully that has taken me out of Famine mode and back on to the road to loosing! I know for sure that my body has stalled due to the massive loss I had in Week 1 of the challenge.
Now I'm sat in my fluffy PJ's at the computer wondering what on earth I can do today! I've got a spotless house, no washing or ironing to speak of, I have no job to go to - hmmmmm the possibilities are endless! Hehehe! I might take this opportunity to have a whip around the kitchen cupboards and do a shopping list for the week and then stick on some joggers and go for a walk around my new area! What ever I do, I look forward to being able to do it!
On a final note... yesterday was my great grandmothers 104th birthday! She was having a little party with a few friends, family and her children (all of whom are now in their 70's or 80's - My Grampa was the second youngest at 77, Uncle Jim is 79 and Aunty Irene is 82 - the youngest Donald passed away 10 years ago at 65)! I know she had a wonderful day and I bet you she drank enough champagne to sink a ship! Bless her sweet little heart! I think I'll also try and give my Grampa a call today to see how she enjoyed her party!
