It is so terrible how our minds work to trick us in to believing one thing instead of the actual reality!

I spent the evening with a good friend of mine, he had photos from my birthday out (this past November), and they were not pretty. I was really toasted and looked it in the photos! I really looked like I was having fun (I had to much = blackout) and was the life of the party apparently but I was also that fat girl that I promised myself I would never be. Ugh, I want to cry looking at them. My husband, God love him, did not even have to say a word when I said, "I did not realize I had gotten so big," I just knew. I was not going to put him in a position to lie (i.e. no you didn't) and I needed this wake up call!

So... I was

up early and did a round of pilates. Not sure what I will do next. More the likely yoga tonight...

On a side note... I found this great blog... Wine, Chocolate and Children by Midget Wrangle . Midget Wrangle is a "mum" of three; her thoughts on weight, children and relationships. A good read. I also found some great photos that I am going to be using here, of course, so if you read it and say, "oh, I saw that on mrsjonson's blog..." well, yes, I got it from there, lol

Oh and btw... One less pound this week! Hooray for small miracles!

I hear ya. Right before I started SB I had some pics taken and they brought me to tears since I had been avoiding the camera for so long. The good news is that those pics are of the you before you decided to change your life! You are almost at the 20 pounds lost marker and that is so exciting! With a program like this, your efforts are rewarded and once you start seeing those pounds fall off and the difference you see and feel in you, I have no doubt you'll keep on going until you hit your goal! Then you'll look at those pics and say, "I can't believe thats even me, I WAS that big?" you're doing awesome, keep up the brilliant work!

Good job on the loss for this week! I know what you mean about the pictures. I'm always the one TAKING the photos because I don't want to be in them. When I was on vacation last year, a friend of mine took some pictures with me in them and when I saw them, I felt awful. Those were the last pictures that have been take of me so when I reach my goal, I'll use one of them for my "before" picture. I can't wait for that day! We're going to do this girl!! Keep up the good work!
