Hello to all my new friends!
Hot as blazes here today...but what do you expect for Florida in August! Still can't see the scale, but thats a good thing. I don't want to get into the habit of weighing everyday. Sounds a bit obsessive.
Just had lunch and a few minutes before I'm back to work. I seem to like chef salads alot and that really satisfys me until I have my snack. I just love the fact that I can have real oil and vinegar dressing on my salad. I really hate diet dressings, they taste metallic and fake to me and I would avoid it at all costs. Also have my trusty sugar free Jello and I'm a happy girl. I loved Jello before and I find the sugar free kind isn't much of a sacrific at all. Tastes pretty good...or maybe since I'm detoxing from sugar I'm only THINKING its pretty good. Right now a diet Dr. Pepper tastes like I've had a box o'sugar! lol...
Off to the gym again after work. I usually work out on the stairmaster for 40 minutes and then the treadmill on incline 8 for 20 minutes. There's my freakin' hour and then I'm outta there! (can you tell I'm a Jersey girl relocated...lol)I look a mess when I leave but I do feel great.
I love my gym..its usually so quiet and filled with really old people...yes older than me...and I look like some triathelon next to them. Quite the ego booster...hey I get it where I can..mmkay? No judging here! lol
Well, back to work and I'll talk to y'all later (I'm trying to learn the lingo down here...been here three years and I still refuse to say "fixin"..."I'm fixing to git to the store")...dear god...goes against all my northern genes...
