I have been so freaked out about my eating habits this last week that I thought I would never gain control again. It dawned on me this morning (as I was peeing) why I was craving carbs and sweets! Duh! Thank god! Now life can go back to normal, lol.

I need to just realize that it will be harder those days leading up to my period and just be better prepared. Keep stock of some dark chocolate; better, yet, Jell-O makes dark chocolate sugar free, fat free pudding! Increase the water, switch from coffee and drink *gulp* tea (side note: I am a die hard coffee person, drinking tea is well a prissy drink (just kidding sharonfriz) but I need to woman up to get through the week, lol). Take long walks and hit my husband up for more vertical dancing, wink, wink!

Most importantly, I need to quit beating myself up and pay attention to my body. So, there it is FS friends, love yourself even when you feel like you are failing because in reality you probably are not.

I hate the whole pms psycho thing- I do it every month- and I WAS a huge coffee drinker and gave it up Jan 1 with this diet- it was not only my getup and go morning jolt but my hubby used to make it for me with toffee flavored creamer and it felt like a giant I love you every day. I miss it but it probably had 300 calories and my ob suggested I give up caffeine due to some precancerous findings on a mammo.....so prissy I am-jealous of your morning java but I have a shelf full of tea choices and I'm getting used to it. may I recommend the best of the bunch...original sweet and spicy made by Good Earth...now that tea...that's only for a real woman...it's great!!!!!Hey-chin up on your chart-do well today-all it takes is a day or 2 of good choices and you'll be coming down again. Good idea to plan ahead for next month.

Thanks sharonfriz! And I will try that tea next month, lol. Don't get me wrong, I do go through periods that only tea will do but... coffee, the smell, ah... not the same lmao and I drink mine black, unless of course I indulge in a Non Fat, No Foam, Tall Latte from good old Starbucks ;) Thanks for your support and... I went thru that same thought this morning! LMAO!!!! and your comic makes me dream... mmmm.. back to reality... hm... tea really the answer? I think I need to try it. I will miss my coffee too. but lately its not loving me the way it used to!;(

I have to admit that tea is comforting and soothing in all the right ways. When I am stressed and want to eat, tea will calm nerves in ways that coffee will ony agitate. Now that my TOM is actually here I feel relived! Still want a hunk of chocolate but... I want to be thinner more and God know I have had enough of the goodies to last me for awhile, lol.

There's nothing quite like a lovely cup to tea to wind down with! I'm just having my last cup of the day right now, although obviously made with milk - I do hope you're drinking it with milk and not, the horror, lemon!! ;) It's good that you're starting to recognise your trigger points - then you can be prepared and plan accordingly! I love your little mantra at the end - it is so true that we're all too quick to beat ourselves up when things go a bit off track, forgetting to praise ourselves for the bigger successes overall!! Now, go get those suitcases packed and I'll be waiting in Maine with your travel tickets!! Leanne :)

I'm trying to drink hot tea in the evenings (without caffine) to help me with my night time nibble cravings. It works okay when I remember to do it and with the "sleepytime extra" tea it really helps nod off faster when my head hits the pillow. It's all the "tea pusher's" around here that got me started on evening, relaxing teas

Today I feel like the patron in your comic above-I ordered a gooey desert after a fattening lunch-But now I don't feel deprived, and like you, am going back on the wagon! Here's to better better "eating reports" next week.......
