I have exercised everyday this week. I have stuck to Atkins. The only diversion is a 11 to 14 carb snack bar for breakfast on 3 days. I just cannot face eggs in the morning. My carb count total for the day is lower that 30 on each day. I was on Aleve 3 days to knock down some arthritis inflammation. They usually make me retain some fluid. ??? I have always been a slow loser.

I too am a slow lose, but we will get there. Slow and steady. I have to go below 20g net carbs to see dramatic loss and if I go above 20g net carbs I just maintain. You might switch to a low-carb snack bar that has no more than 2-3g net carbs. Good luck!

I have found it to be much easier to not worry about "typical" meals on this diet. I reheat a steak for breakfast sometimes; or eat ham rollups (cream cheese spread on ham and then rolled). I have even had a low carb version of 7-layer salad for breakfast. If you get sick of eggs, just eat anything else!!!!
