It has been a few months since I've last recorded anything. I'm still here: alive, kicking, and working to maintain my health. It is hard to believe, to wrap my mind around the fact that one year ago this month I weighed 376 pounds!
In March of this year I returned to normal food. By and large I'm doing really well, however, eating anywhere else but from one's own kitchen (and sometimes not even that) seems to be "total warfare." Everywhere I look there are deceptive foods and temptations. I'm learning how to navigate these things, but can't get over how challenging it is just to eat healthy all the time. A friend of mine said it best: "You don't have a choice...you have to eat!" Indeed we do!
