It's August first and I have been low carbing and then Keto-ing for a year. It is my one year anniversary and today I officially lost 100 pounds. I am down 113 from my highest. A year ago, I weighed 292. Today, 192. I have more to lose but slow and steady will win this race. I started this year with a fatty liver, diabetes and high blood pressure, painful knees and no energy. I am now off all meds and my a1c is solid and stable at 5.1, blood pressure is perfect and the doctor says no more GNASH. I walked in my first 1 mile fun run two weeks ago and my teenagers can't keep up with me. So happy anniversary to me! Thank you to all of you who have supported and walked this walk with me this year.
