Today its dreary and rainy here in Michigan. That puts a damper on our walking but it means we will be sewing full force! Its so nice to be back in my home state with my best friends in the whole world! Life is good.
I was so disappointed yesterday to see the condition that the renter left my house in. I thought she was my friend and I have to say I felt totally betrayed. My friend Diana said if we don't trust people though, that society would come to a complete standstill. Some will betray us and some will come through and give us hope. I have to say, I was totally blindsided. I will be more cautious next time.
I', looking forward to some more lovely low carb meals today. We'll be having leg of lamb for supper. Jackie is a marvelous cook so I know it will be heavenly. Their taste in wine isn't half bad either! I'll have only one glass and that won't bring me to a standstill.
Tomorrow will be the long drive home. I am hoping the weather will finally resemble something that looks like spring. I simply cannot wait to get my hands dirty in the garden. Warm weather is high on my list of favorite things right now.
Today I am thankful for the opportunity to connect with old friends, simple pleasures- sewing, good conversation, good food and good wine. Life doesn't have to be complicated to be wonderful.
