Ah, temptation in the office. I wish I was talking about a man. It was donuts.

So, I was not using my brain. I didn't check the interwebs before I "chose the healthiest option." First of all, ME, that's one of the dumbest things you've tried to tell yourself in ages. The healthiest option is NOT EATING A DONUT! Ugh. Dumb.

Second of all, just because that donut looked like it had blueberries in it does not make it a healthier choice. After a quick internet search, I discovered the food item is titled "Blueberry Cake Donut." Awesome. Those blueberries are no better than blue spots. 300 calories of sugar and the tears of blueberries that were denied their full potential.

If anyone else reads this, take a lesson from my mistake: If you must have your donut fix from Krispy Kreme, take the original glazed. It's 200 calories.
