This morning, Thursday, October 23, 2008 at about 8:00 AM, I was entering the Penton Parking garage. I pulled into the middle lane, swiped my parking card and waited for the arm to go up to let me pass. I looked to my right and saw that the arm to the other parking lane seemed to go up a little after mine so I drove ahead thinking I was safe. A second later, I caught from the corner of my eye the front end of a white car really close to my bumper but continued to drive forward to avoid being hit.

While turning the first corner, I heard a women's voice screaming obscenities (i.e. bitch and fuck you) and shouting that I cut her off. I looked in the mirror and saw that her car was very close to mine. I was afraid she was going to hit me with her car. I stopped my car got out and told her to get off my bumper and I did not cut her off. I got back in and speed up to give her enough room. She also speed up, stayed on my bumper and shouted obscenities the whole ride up to the sixth floor.

I parked on the sixth floor, left hand side a few spaces down from the loading doors and several spaces away from the elevators. She parked in a handicap parking space closer to the elevators. I walked to the elevator and as soon as she saw me, she started yelling obscenities at me again saying that I cut her off and I am a bitch. I yelled back that I did not cut her off, but I stopped and said you are right I was wrong whatever... She yelled back that you white bitches are alike and think that they can do what ever they want to.

At this point I was angry and shouted to her that was not true, it was her that tried to hit me or cut me off and race has nothing to do with it she is just a bitch. She was in my face at this point; screaming at me that I am a bitch and that I am a racist. At one point, I said it was true... I looked over saw that she was black and rushed to cut her off, this was not true; I really do and did think that I had the right of way. The insults just continued and when I said that I am not racist, that my husband is black she said that just because I fuck a black man does not make me not racist. She stayed in my space the entire time and I was worried that she was about to hit me but that never happened.

The insults continued until the parking attendant came and broke in between the two of us and he seemed to struggle to hold her back. He was also able to call the elevator again. The elevator that I had called I was unable to get on because she was blocking the way. The parking attendant was able to help me get on to the elevator and get away from the woman who continued to scream at me that I was a fucking racist bitch as the doors were closing.

I did go back to the parking garage about 8:30 AM and moved my car up and around the corner for fear, she might do something to my car.
