Today's wins: 1. Today is day two of strictly low/slow carb, as compared to last week where I was fairly low carb but not strictly sticking to it. Lots of temptations to cheat but if I stick to it I know the cravings will pass and I'll start to drop lbs like crazy. 2. The 6 month Diet Bet started today. I officially weighed in a couple days ago, and by strictly following slow carb for a couple days I'm already ~70% of the way to the first month's goal (lose 3%). That gives me a little head start on the rest of the challenge (lose 10%). 3. Surviving the 'polar vortex' outside by layering up. Luckily I don't have much reason to go outside - I'm glad I don't have a dog yet but I can't wait until May when I get my puppy!
