I've just changed my weight goal. When I started Spark People, I weighed 192 lbs. and wanted to lose 40 lbs. I lost 30, then went up and down 10 lbs. for years.
When I started FatSecret in June 2021, I weighed 170 lbs., down 22 lbs. from my original starting weight. I set my goal for 135 lbs.
I would love to see 135 lbs. on the scale, but have decided to set shorter goals... 10 lbs. at a time because it seems more doable. Just before Canadians were told they could no longer belong to SP, I joined a challenge of lose 25 lbs. in 25 weeks. That seemed doable, and I lost 7 lbs. in 10 weeks, and felt good about myself.
So my challenge to myself is to lose 10 lbs. in 3 months. From July 10 to October 10... then I will set myself another challenge... and so on.
If anyone wants to join me, and share tips, you will be most welcome.
