I ran a 10K this weekend and logged my fasted 10K time ever. I was also 4 minutes faster than a 10K that I ran just 2 weeks prior. Shedding weight is directly correlating to faster per mile paces. At 230 - I could only run 11:15min/mile and now I am cruising 9:45 over 10K. Regular training is a part of it for sure but I don't feel like I am putting in too much more effort, just going faster.
