I forgot to mention that we have been having a daily visitor here in the flowers. I've seen a Ruby Throated Hummingbird several days in a row now and what a beautiful little creature! I've planted several perennials and a few potted flowers so she must've found something that appeals to her.
There is a new litter of kittens on my front porch. One of the barn cats had kittens in a box that was going to the trash barrel. I ended up buying a plastic doghouse to put them in for better housing. There are 3 of them and they are precious. She must have felt safe up here by the house. I thought they would be born out in the hay barn but she must've wanted to be where the action is. I have fresh rhubarb, strawberries and blueberries so the possibilities are endless are endless for pie combinations. Have I ever mentioned how much I love living on the farm?
