Maria Paz's Logboek, 20 apr 15

I was doing well to lose a couple of pounds the other day but gained half a pound today. I will try the rest of the day to watch what I eat or at least the quantity of it. Tomorrow I plan to spend most of my day at home so I may cook salmon and vegetables. I have to satisfy my sweet tooth so I may buy muffins or chocolate but not both.

Weight fluctuates hour to hour, so I only weigh once a week, no matter how tempted I am in between. My biggest problem is chocolate (read my last journal entry), so I know what that is like! Maybe you could look at some low-carb recipes to help satisfy your sweet tooth! Sounds like to you have a good plan there!

You are probably smart to weigh yourself only once a week. I am just tempted to get on the scale especially when I think I am going to lose weight. I think measurements though are more important to me like waist size since weight loss or gain can mean water loss or more muscle mass. I will definitely learn to make healthier sweets like black bean brownies that are healthy and delicious. I need to focus a little more on low carb foods. Thanks for the support!

You are so right! Measurments and the way you feel, as well as indicators such as energy and work out ease are much better ways to measure success!
