Reality hit me like a ton of bricks this morning. I know that I've lost 23 pounds so far and I know that my body looks a LOT better than it did. But today, I saw a candid picture of myself taken a week ago and I'm still SO fat.
When taking a picture or looking in the mirror, I straighten up, pull in my stomach, smile. But a candid shot shows how I really look -- and I've still got a LONG way to go. I know that after I lose my first 27 pounds that I'm going to lose another 25 and then I hope that candid shots of my are much better.
If anything, seeing that picture has really motivated me. As my motivation has been very low lately. I've really got to work on my core and my posture. I KNOW I'll be getting up at 6:00 tomorrow morning for pilates. No excuses any more!!!
