WM0000's Logboek, 06 jan 24

I have resisted this comparison for an entire year. This is the results of 365 days of limiting my sugar and carbohydrates to less than 5 grams per day. Most of my sugar/carbs grams are from the daily vitamins I take.

I reduced my waist from 50 inches to 36 inches. I hope to be back to a 32 inch waist by summer if another illness doesn't derail my progress.

I'm rapidly approaching the $2 million point for medical care over the past eight years.

@stevenlauder119 - Yes and no. My doctor is controlling my plan and he wanted me to keep the sugar and cards to under 30 - 50 grams. I believe that's the range for Keto. I told him, I could eliminate them all together. He was skeptical but has been totally impressed. I didn't want to develop diabetes and begin to lose toes, legs, etc. That's a big issue on my family. So, that's my motivation.

@stevenlauder119 - I can eat anything I want that doesn't have too much sugar or carbs. I do limit my eating better 8 am to 5 pm. So there is also an element of intermittent fasting in my plan too. The doctor recommended the intermittent fasting because I hit a plateau over the span of a couple of months. Once I begin the intermittent fasting, the weigh began to fall off. I'm eating between 1800 - 2200 calories per day during my eating window.
