I did a really stupid thing...

This week I've switched up my exercising schedule and I'm now doing pilates and swimming in the morning before work so that at lunch I can walk and suring th evenings I can go to Hot Yoga. Anyhow, last night I went to the late hot yoga class and immediately went to bed (after showering) then woke up first thing this morning and went swimming. About 35 minutes into my swimming I could barely move my arms and legs and I felt so horrible. I realized that I hadn't eaten anything since before hot yoga -- at about 6 p.m. DUH!

Thank goodness I am someone who learns from my mistakes. I'm really going to have to make sure that never happens again. I'll need to eat a light snack after yoga and then in the mornings maybe a chicken leg and an apple as I'm heading out the door.

But on the bright side, I got a compliment about my weight loss. My ex-boss said, "In the last two weeks, I've really noticed the how skinny you are getting." Well, in the last two weeks, I've been doing hot yoga. So, YEAH for HOT YOGA!!! I really can see and feel a difference in my clothes. I even had to wash all of my jeans and shorts in hot water so I can maybe get one more month's worth of wear from them. The inches seem to be coming off faster than the pounds, but I think that's from combined muscle gain and fat loss. :-)

Oh, and speaking of hot yoga, I made my commitment yesterday and have signed up for 12 months of unlimited hot yoga. Going 4x a week!!!
