So .. I'm really missing fruits and veggies so I'm not real sure if this LCHF is going to work for me long term.. will see what happens but for the holiday I'm having oranges and pears and bananas and tons of salad and other cooked veggies. I was practically a vegetarian before I started this LCHF thing .. I lost some weight pretty quick and I do stay full .. but I miss fruit and veggies way too much at this point .. will have to find a happy balance some how.

Vegetables above ground are fine, low in sugar. Fruits are High in Fructose and High in Glucose. It's really not a question of whether you like them or not....everyone likes fruit, it's nature's candy. However, just like "Candy", a small amount. Remember, your Liver is the ONLY organ that can process Fructose and shunts it straight to Liver Fat and Triglycerides. Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease :-(

There are lots of good veggies! Avoid root vegetables (I do indulge in carrots occasionally..love them). I was shocked that onions have so many carbs. Fruit is another matter, I avoid them. Maybe on maintenance?? Don't give up!

What they said ^^. You do know that berries & cherries are a allowed on occasion, right? Do your best. That's all any if us can do. Good luck!
