I'm baaaaack! Turns out I was misdiagnosed on Monday in Urgent Care. They said I had a virus and thus would just have to cycle Tylenol and Ibuprofen until my fever was gone and take phenegren for nausea. And they gave me a shot of that stuff in my butt! So I suffered for THREE more days... which was WAY longer than it should've been if it was really a virus. My hubby dragged me to my regular doctor yesterday and turns out the Urgent Care people were sorely wrong. I had a sever sinus infection, which was causing the fever, throwing up, chills, etc because it was getting treated by the wrong meds. Sooo... after ANOTHER shot in my butt of steroids and THREE more prescriptions, I am now on the road to recovery and able to go back to work today. Hallelujah! I didn't hardly eat anything while sick, ya'll would've been so disappointed if you saw. Like yesterday, my hubby made me one pack of Ramen Noodles, and that's all I could stomach all day. Glad to be back, hope to catch up at work and then later catch up on everybody's journals and progress!

Feel better Sonya! I'm on Penicillin at the moment for an infection in my mouth, so I know it's not fun! I think it's HORRIBLE that Urgent Care could be THAT wrong! Geesh. The only 2 times I've taken my kids to Urgent Care they were spot on, but I guess we were lucky(son having a severe asthma flare both times, we thought it might've been pnumonia the one time!) Don't you hate getting sick on the weekend or at night after dr's are closed??? We're lucky, we have a walk-in clinic here that's open 12-7 now so if something happens we can go there instead of the ER. I did that one time to find out I had bronchitis...got there at 11pm(after work) and got dischared at 3AM!!! Then had to drive 1/2 hour home and couldn't even fill my Rx until the next day since it was so late(no 24 hour pharmacy near me). What a pain! DH told me I should've gone to UC but I didn't know where it was and I thought it was closed by that time anyway.
