Trying to cut back on sodium and my lunch reminds me of hospital food.

I've been really puffy in the mornings when I wake up and I REALLY like salty foods. I'm going to do my best to stay at or under the 2300 mg of sodium RDI. It's not going to be easy...because I REALLY like salty food.

OK, here I go...

good luck! I really like salty food too and I have troubles some days keeping it down.

on days you have a lot of salt drink more water...I am a salty food addict and water has helped me with the puffiness

have you tried any of the herb based salt replacements (aka spice mixes) for somethings there is just no replacement - then you just gotta down the water - my poor toes get puffy on salt days!!!

Thanks for all the advice. I did buy Trader Joe's 21 Spice Salute, which is pretty good. And I drink over a gallon a day of water, so that's not the problem. The problem is the salt I pour on everything. :-)
