I've only just started with this app, could anyone tell me please, is it possible to add your own recipes or calculate a recipe from scratch ?

Yes you can. Use the tool 'My cook book'. I've used it a lot for loads of dinners I've made myself in order to monitor the cals etc. I don't add a description and I don't submit the receipt for approval, as its for my own use. You can save them, and if you change an ingredient you just delete the previous entry and add the new one. Hope this helps ....

Added info: My cook book - choose 'submit a receipe', find your ingrediences, enter weight etc. Sometimes I make food for 6 (and freeze the rest) so I make sure I put in how many servings the food is ment for.
