Sherillynn's Logboek, 03 feb 12

Yesterday was a struggle all day. It had nothing to do with Atkins and everything to do with this respiratory problem that I have going on. I found it difficult to get anything done without my heart pounding, going into a sweat and coughing like crazy. I hope today is a better day.

I was able to follow Induction fairly well. I got my 20 net carbs but need to get more from the Induction veggies. I also had a hard time getting all of the water in, mostly because I can't breathe and it makes drinking difficult. Only (2) 8 ounce glasses of water in but I will do better as my health improves. The amazing thing here is that I still managed to drop a few pounds despite the fact that I was feeling so crappy. I think my body responds well to Atkins so I am hopeful that this time, with more perseverance on my part, I will be able to get to my goal weight.

Moving forward with my commitment to drop these pounds. I know what I need to do and I CAN do it!

Hey Girl - so glad to see you back at it! Hard to start w/ additional health issues, but still glad you are hanging in there and doing what you can! Tracking your foods and paying close attention to your choices is the name of the game ;) Plus the additional water helps to shed the water and fat being released. Even if in small sip increments, try to be drinking all day. You definitely CAN do this.. you are doing it... You need to focus on making these changes to suit a lasting lifestyle shift... so you will KEEP doing it! ;) Much Love.
