day 220..61 outside..i could get use to this kind of weather, in the winter time, when its suppose to be cold and nasty..i drove the path i walked yesterday morning, and the pedometer reading in the vechile said 3 miles, which kinda surprised me..means 4thehalibut, you better get use to sweating..lol... cause if thats the case..il be addin more on in a week or less..as i use to walk that before and yes i was sweatin yesterday from walkin it, but i wasnt really tired when i got done, like i use to be when i walked it..also read article yeasterday that said not to eat breakfast, that your body would burn the fat that you have in storage, instead of what you would have for breakfast, so im going to try it today, gonna go walkin on an empty tummy..i usually always eat soemthing before my walk, but article said it takes 3-4 hours for you to digest what you eat, depending on the food...so after my walk, im gonna drink a protein shake before my workout, then do my workout, and then if i need more energy, i will probly drink another shake afterwards...see how i do today, to see if its worth changing my morning routine...i dont really eat that much for breakfast, but i do eat one..but il take a bananna with me to the gym, just in case i feel like i need something...hope everyone has a great workout, and a great day..and o yeah.....4thehalibut, if your gonna keep up with me, you better get use to sweating..lol... you all have a great day...lol...


ADDON: i recheckd my new walking route this morning just to make sure how far it was..its 1/2 block from bein 3 miles..so...walked that in 45 minutes..surprised me that i walked it that fast, soon as i get use to that, then i will add another 1/2 mile on..good way to get cardio before the gym...as for not eating before the gym i wasnt eating all that much before i went..but im not hungry like i thought i would be...im drinkin the protein shake just to add protein bck into my system so i dont feel like im draggin..from my workouts..gonna try this a week and see if it makes a difference...

ok...ready, get set...GO! I'm thinking about your walk in the cold, and I'm shutting the windows and locking the door! just in case you wanna force me to go out there in the cold with you! LOL no way!!

so far the coldest day i have walked was 25, with a wind chill of 15...and really it wasnt that cold, once i learned how to dress for those cold days..long as its not down past 20, i will probly go walking..will just have to see that day..

Loosinisfun....Are ya trying to kill me? I am no way near the workout level that you are - walkin AND going to the gym - what a jock! I do the eliptical from 30-45 minutes and I usually do a mile every 15 minutes - I start out at 7, then bump it to 12, then up to 17 and then work my way back down. I also try to use the reverse motion - to work some other muscles and to give some muscles a brief respite! I just got a new DVD and it features 10 minute blocks of exercise that you can mix and match - cardio, kickboxing and pilates - my first attempt at following the DVD was less than stellar - I gotta get the moves down first before I can keep up! In honor of my buddy loosinisfun - I will do an extra 1/2 mile again tonight (7 minutes) - but yeesh - it's alot of work and last time I kept asking myself why did I agree to go the extra 1/2 mile - then I remembered because loosinisfun! Gotta get my training in before you bump it up again!

hahahhahahhah....4thehalibut...enjoyed your comment this morning...i just know that i have to keep challenging my body to keep trying to work off the extra storage..you are one up on me, when i use the elliptical i dont llike doing the backwards movement as im not use to doing it..i try, but can only do it so long and then it does me in..so usually i do it forwards just to get the routine over..
