i cant belive i am having such a hard time this time around with this diet. Last time i went down all the way to 241 to only jump up all the way past 270! tomorrow i will go walking, and today at work i will walk more than i sit, its hard to do that when your work consists of seating on a desk!

Exercise is key to any weight loss program. You shouldn't see this as a "diet" but as a change in your lifestyle. I am a recent Mom to two boys (28 months and 8 months) and I know I have to be a more active and happy Mom for them. They are my motivation to get back in shape and continue with exercise and proper eating habits so they have a role model to look up to. I can't tell from your diet calendar how you are eating (I know if feels like peeping)...you should start there. LOG everything! you will be surprised at how many calories you are consuming (or NOT consuming)..... watch your percentage Protein, FAt and Carb to ensure you are sticking to the perameters of your diet. Atkins is higher protein and lower carb...during induction is more like 10% carb, 40-50% protein and 40-50%Fat depending on your preferences. I started with atkins 4 months ago and am now tweeking my numbers to better suit my lifestyle and find a way of eating I can continue with for the rest of my life. Exercise will be a big part of this life. You can do it!!! Don't lose hope and sabotage yourself (I always did that).... make small goals and reward yourself (not necessarily with food) when you reach that goal. My big reward when I reach my goal is a new wardrobe (I"ve been pregnant or nursing since June 2009.... time for new clothes!). Some mini goals for me include a new pair of runners if I stick to my exercise routine for 4 weeks straight, TV series on DVD to work out to, an iPod if I stick to a walking routine... things like that. I can't have a "cheat" meal because I will derail and binge...I know I lack that kind of self control. If I however make my goal by my birthday (August 28th I turn 40)...I WILL have a piece of cake and a glass of wine. STICK WITH IT.....SEE A NEW YOU SOMEWHERE IN THERE..... BE STRONG!!!

Thank you Preggo38, and congratulations on your two boys. You know i have the habit of buying the exercise DVD's putting them on and just watching them without doing the work. lol! I have decided thay i will exercise more..i am very excited to start and adjust a exercise routine. Thank you for your motivation.
