sarbobar's Logboek, 04 feb 08

Well, today I slept until 1pm to prepare for my night shift (7:30pm-7:30am) at the hospital. So far today I've only eaten one meal, so that should help with my calorie intake overnight. I find night shifts really hard for eating good. Especially if there is junk left around (patients leave chocolates for us nurses all the time! How "sweet"! lol!). I always bring the bare minimum healthy grazing foods to work on nights because I like to eat to stay awake. That way I don't have a choice but to eat healthy. I also need to have a meal at around 12 or 1am. I think I will bring cereal or a multigrain bagel. Well, off to do some laundry...

I dont know if this sounds good to you or not....but I am on a huge kick....yogurt w/ granola. The latest thing I bought was some Kashi cereal (similar to granola) and i put that in with my yogurt...its a great mid-afternoon (or for you mid-night snack)
