Since I started to record my weight loss (2 years ago), I've already lost 16 kg (35.2 pounds), It has been a long term process. I'm seen this like a marathon, I don't need to rush, I need to go steady, the most important is not the weight loss, but the change of habits. Sometimes I gain weight back, but that encourage me more to make a big effort.

I'm not an sports man, by the way I practice the laziest sport in the world (out of chess), Scuba Diving.

I remember, at the beginning just small changes makes a huge difference, like change your fries for salad when you go for a burger, asked for no ketchup, the most important change was to learn to say NO, no to all the food offers and to oversize the orders; changes like those became to changes like started to reduce my meals every day, starting to make intermittent fasting, 12:12, 14:10, 16:8, 18:6 until suddenly one day, I noticed that I haven't ate near 24 hours and nothing happened, then I started to make OMAD (One meal a day) and then I said, no more sugars and sweeteners.

At this moment, I have reduce my body weight, my blood pressure is near to be normal, my blood chemistries have improved to normal values, and I hope that next hepatic ultrasound will show a reduction in my fatty liver. I still have a long way to go, because at least I want to loose another 15kg (33 pounds) more

If you are feeling like you don't progress, evaluate if your habits have changed, when you change your mind, and you learn to say NO!, no to your cravings, no to eat because of stress, then you will said, No for fast food, no for sugars.

You are loosing weight only and only because of you, because you want, you are not in a 100m race, you are in a steady marathon, you can do it!
