Good Morning my loves!

So much has gone on in the last week, it's been crazy. Some of it good, some not so good :(

We adopted a new dog, then 3 days later had to surrender him. It broke all of our heart, but he attacked our son. Lil Big Man took him outside for his nightly routine. We'd been working with him on not puppy nipping during play, but that is not what happened last Tuesday night. There were some other things that we found a little concerning but thought with time and patience that we could train those out of him - like jumping on Lil Big Man and trying to get at his head when he was laying down; that happened twice. Tuesday though, the dog latched on to our son's leg through his jeans and wouldn't release. It wasn't puppy play. Thankfully he was strong enough to keep the dog pushed back so it couldn't do more damage but couldn't get the dog to release so he called for us to come help and we ran outside, saw what was going on, Big Man got the dog away and I got Lil Big Man inside. Whew. That was super scary.

The good is, I got a job. I am now the Community Legal Advisor for a large non-profit organization that helps women survivors of DV. I start Wednesday. I don't know what how logging my food will work once I'm working. I've worked over the years, but I haven't had a full time job since I was pregnant with Lil Miss over 11 years ago.

My plan health wise with this new job is to weigh myself on Wednesday morning and go from there. My eating and activity hasn't been the best this past week, so I expect the numbers to go up. For breakfast I'll try to plan out morning meals that are healthy and filling and can be made ahead of time. Lunch planning will have to wait until I know what the brake/kitchen situation is. Dinner will probably stay the same as it's been.

I'm on day 2 of a migraine though, praying it's gone before Wednesday, but I also have 2 assignments and a midterm for my advanced course due by 8am Wednesday, too.
