Well .. circumstances dictated that it was difficult for me to stick to my 'restricted' menu of foods this past week (later in the week, especially), so I've completely reversed my gain of the previous week. I'm not going to let it get me too down, though. I'm just going to re-double my efforts to remain on track for this next week, and see if I can bring that back down again. Wish me luck .. :-)

Back on track again (2 lbs. a week) after one of my mysterious weight 'burps'. :-)
I'm still pretty sure that by the time I reach between 210 and 200 pounds that I'll need to start increasing my activity level to maintain this same loss rate.

PS) I noticed after my last weigh-in that my bar finally changed from 'red' to 'gold' .. Yea!! me .. :-)

You know .. every time I go through one of my weeks where I don't lose any weight, even though every other time I've rebounded just fine the next week, I always worry that THIS one will be "it" .. when I reach my first plateau, and stop losing.
Well, thankfully enough, this week that didn't happen .. :-)

OK .. that was interesting...
In case anyone noticed (and I'm sure no one did), I haven't been making my regular, daily, diet/exercise calendar entries the past week. The reason for this was that I've been fighting a nasty cold, and was bed-ridden most of the time.
Consequently, I didn't really each much, and what I did eat was whatever I could keep down .. not necessarily what I 'should' have been eating .. and I haven't really been getting in the activity that I usually do, either.
So .. I weighed in last Saturday, and I was still at 229 .. which is just fine with me. It could have gone LOTS worse.
Now, while others in my family are currently going through what I went through, I'm feeling much better. So, it's back to recording my diet/exercise again. If I'm lucky, I'll go right back to my usual 2 pounds a week .. but, we'll just have to see.
