I plan on checking my weight every morning at the same time, after I've used the potty and completely undressed. That way I get the clearest idea about how Im doing and I can determine how well something worked yesterday or what didn't work well yesterday. I can immediately see the results of my actions and I soon plan on losing a pound a day so I think checking daily to make sure I am where I need to be is the best option for me. :)

Excited to start the challenge in a few days. I am excited to be doing it alongside so many other people to. I just get so psyched up thinking that by Oct 31st... I could be skinny? Crazy. I remember when I lost weight before I got cancer. I was the skinniest I'd been since I was 13. 154 and that may not sound light for a person who was 5'5'' but everyone thought I looked about 120 and thats just fine with me. Cancer oddly put the pounds on but now that it's gone I need to shed this weight. I remember when I was at my skinniest weight, I was a team building exercise for my job and we were supposed to create a tower using a few pieces of wood and other materials so we'd decided that we'd be apart of the structure and we were deciding who would be on top. Then I heard the most miraculous thing. She pointed at me and said, "Her, she's the skinny one". I couldn't believe my ears. I was in a group of physically fit people and IIII was the skinny one? I marveled at the idea and it felt so good. I felt like I could take over the world. I want that feeling back.

I probably could have skipped dinner cause I wasn't that hungry but after I ate it. I was hungry again right before bed. weird. I didn't eat anything though. I did stay up way too late, which throws me off kilter the whole next day so I'm going to try and get to bed no later than 10pm now. :)

Wow, I just entered in what I ate today (augusth 17th) and even though I know I did poorly, if you don't keep track of the calories as your eating them and making sure you do the math those calories can get out of control. I was not expecting that. Lesson learned. No wine for dessert and protein bars seem like a waste of calories cause it's not as filling as a whole lettuce wrap with tuna and veggies and its about the same amount of calories. Yep, should follow my own advice and write everything down. Sometimes, just looking at the back of a package can completely change my mind about how much I want to eat something. It can look good but dang... it's like a rip off. Don't buy into it.
