I am not going to even try and enter my foods from yesterday and possibly from today. I know that my calorie total was over and I didn't keep track of what I ate. We had a retirement party for a co-worker who had been with the company for 27 years. A very special occasion that doesn't happen often and I don't feel guilty for enjoying it (and the 2 pieces of cake - one while at work and the other at the party last night). And today is my anniversary. We have been married 21 years. Not sure what we are doing, he hasn't said yet. I will get back on track Saturday but have been drinking a lot of water the last two days at least. And moving around more, even went swimming. My doctor recommended adding some water aerobics. He said it would be good for my joints and fibromyalgia.

I unfortunately have not been watching my food or tracking it this past week. There was a death in the family (my husband's aunt) and my oldest daughter is having serious problems in her marriage. One of my best friends recently found out her husband had been cheating on her and one of my husband's best friends admitted to and was arrested for molesting his young daughter (a friend of 2 of our daughters). All of this stress has caused my husband's blood pressure to go up and even with his medication it has been high. It was 171 over 111 the other night. He has been having back and neck pains and face numbness and left arm pains too. I have scheduled a doctor's appt for him. The last thing I have been thinking about is meal planning. That means a lot of fast food/convenience foods. I took some time yesterday and this morning to prepare some healthy meals for this week for breakfast and lunch so I can get back on track. I only gained 1 pound so that is good. I expected a lot more. I have always been a stress eater. If you believe in prayer, please pray for my family, my husband (both health and he is the pastor of our church and everything lately has caused him to question his ministry) and our friends' families.
