I was on facebook thought I was sharing with a weight loss surgery group. Dah Not, shared it on my own page. I could not believe how many supporters I had the people who seemed to not pay much attention beyond a hi now and then came out of the woodwork. People I had not seen in 40 years were encouraging me offering to pray for me. It must be working cause here I am writing a journal entry. Go dog go as my dad use to say as an encouragement.

Weight check yesterday. Sure could tell I had been struggling. Husband bought kettle corn microwave popcorn. He found a very week spot he found what he thought to be butter popcorn was two boxes of kettle so last night he tossed the boxes. He is learning more about my weaknesses and is attempting to avoid any further setbacks due to silly mistakes
Today I feel stronger, more focused. Thank the Lord. Amen.

Life goes on no matter how much rebelling I do. Might as well spend time losing weight, lowering my blood sugar numbers, regaining mobility, and dexterity. Went out on a limb today. Started a group for low carb high fat Atkins diet along with Paleo type eating with the twist being Weston A. Price foundation eating guidelines of eat fat lose fat influenced lifestyle. There is no reason a few tablespoons of fermented foods cannot be consumed each day on a low carbohydrate way of life. Bone broth is still just a form of broth. Local foods, grass feed meats and dairy offer additional micro nutrition. Farmstand local seasonally foods are not a bad goal. Fish oils benefits far outweigh taking an additional pharmaceutical pill. Nourishing foods traditionally found in out great grandparents menus. Head to toe eating is challenging. I can figure out how to fix liver many ways but find hearts, pigs feet, stomachs, and fish head cooking to be a learning curve for me to get my husband to consume some things like tongues or chicken feet I understand they can be flavorful but unsure after I cook them how to peel or not to peel off then how or what do i eat? Combining nourishing foods into ones daily life is challenging then to add a low carbohydrate twist is additionally more learning but the end results are worth it. I want to lose weight so I can go hunt and gather, fish, and other methods of sourcing food.
