First social situation tonight since I started and I made it through. No wine no dessert and stayed away from potato and bread dishes, pasta salads etc. And I did not eat any potato chips. So proud of my self and even though I had quite a bit of meat I stayed within my rdi. Yeehaa got my mojo back. Another party tomorrow night but now I know I can do it. Hope everyone hascan amazing weekend

Absolutely shattered tonight. I thaught id done ok with food but just realised my total is only 1100 cal which is way too low for me. Will maybe have some macadamia nuts soon but really cant be arsed getting off the couch to get them. Tomorrow is a public holiday here in NZ and so looking forward to a sleep in. Long weekends have always been hard for me food wise and we have two bbqs to go to but I am determined to keep it low carb.
If you dont know this yet I work as a personal trainer. One of my clients hit the 50kg weight loss milestone today. It was so exciting we did a little jumping dance around the gym much to the amusement of others. Im just so happy for her. Shes worked so hard. Keep strong everyone and keep you goals in mind. :-)

Another good day food wise today. Feeling quite tired and havnt done my cardio yet. Contemplating having a day off. Just dont feel like dragging my sorry ass upstairs to my bike. On a more positive note spent some downtime this afternoon looking at more research on the lchf lifestyle and the more I see the more I'm convinced this is the plan for me. Carb cravings hvnt been too bad and ive made sure I have lots of low carb snacks in the house. Loving my macadamia nuts (30g per day) but damn they are expensive here. Still $10 worth will last me 4 serves (4 days). Have hidden them from the kids tho lol. Hope everyone else is going strong.

Great day today. Bang on with food, even though I'm still trying to get my head around having a high fat diet. All my life I've treated fat as the enemy so its a real mind set change. I need to get into eating more seeds though as I dont eat fish or avocados and I dont want meat to be my main source of fat.
Got a good legs workout in this evening and will do 30min on my bike later on.
I have always been someone who weighs in daily but this time its only going to be once a week. the number on the scale does not define me. While I want to see my weight come down daily weighing is giving to much power to an inanimate object. Hope everyone else is having an awesome day too :-)

So far so good today. Did an awesome upper body workout this morning. Love feeling strong. On track with food too. Will do bike ride later this arvo. Also had massage today. My body so needed it. Just trying to think how I can work a weekly one into my budget lol. Maybe I just wont feed the kids haha
