The first change I've made to my new eating lifestyle is no pop. The first few days were hard, especially this weekend. I do drink coffee, but I guess I was really relying on that extra caffine in the afternoon. And it's such a habit whenever I go to the gas station to get one of those huge fountain drinks. Also without even thinking about it I have been a lot better about not snacking at night...I still find myself in the kitchen staring in the fridge, but I haven't given in to the cravings much. I guess my next thing to work on is no eating out. I would say I eat out right now at least 2 to 3 times a week. Not usually fast food, but I'm sure the local joints I go to are not much healthier. Also I snack a lot during the day. I need to stick with more fruits and veggies instead of the carbs I usually go to.
We grilled last night and I had one cheeseburger, and strawberries, and water. I feel really good about that. I still enjoyed grilling out, but I stayed away from the pop and chips.
