I am going to try and stick with this journal. Keep myself honest about my food and weight training. so here goes.
Yesterday was a great day. food wise. I made turkey burgers out on the grill. they werent to bad either. It was my off day with the gym. Which is good. because i went and looked at cars. i want to get a truck and my wife needs a new car for the winter. Her little tercell wont handle these uta winters well at all. Today is a chest and shoulders day at the gym. I am excited. they are my favorite to work. I will also weigh in today and see how i am doing. I cant seem to get down from the 285 or 286 mark. thats frustrating. I need to get out and walk more.
I was talking to a co worker about some of the strongman stuff i want to do. I want to get a couple empty kegs from the local bar and fill it up with dirt or gravel or something and run with them. something kind of aggressive. She suggested go to the distributor in town and talk to them. because the bars have to give theirs back to get refilled or something. so yeah that's what i am going to do and see if i cant get some different things for my workout. change it up a little.

I am experimenting with cooking my own food. different flavors and what not. Last night i discovered home made pizza. WOW. first of all its fun to cook with my wife. making a mess and just having fun. then we watched part of season 2 of chuck. while we were watching chuck we went through some old cookbooks and came up with several ideas for more meals. its great. home cooking really is where its at. not only does it taste good. but its fun. and saves us a lot of money.
We are looking at buying a new car. I want a truck so i can load it up with some farm tires and some empty kegs and do some strongman stuff. should be great. wish me luck.

Im excited to start my 2 challenges. 1 is to walk 600 miles in a year. starts next week and the other is 30 pushups a day. increase by 5 each week. how cool is that. I am really excited for this site. getting the app on my iphone. and adding the food. its going to be awesome. i am going to track my food and workouts more. Exciting times.

Day 1. I have been working out off and on for a year. more steadily the past 6 months. I need to lose fat and keep the muscle up. I want to compete in bodybuilding someday. So here goes. My first day in this. I have been eating breakfast every day lately. I hear thats important. my struggle comes at dinner time. lol. so we will see what happens. any support anyone can give me would really help.
