Is this all you ate for the day?

It was. Trying to hit 1200 but finding I don't have enough time to cook better meals. Probably going to introduce protein shakes. :)

Try going for something more nutritious! You also need to meet your micronutrients as well; that's probably one of the reasons you were dizzy. That's usually my number 1 priority, because then everything else just falls into place. You need enough potassium, calcium, vitamins, and other minerals from your food to be able to function properly, lose weight, and be healthy. Take a look at this link for quick meal ideas (the article is on something different, but still works for what I want to show you): http://robbwolf.com/2012/05/31/11524/ Also, you need some veggies in your diet. Try throwing together a quick salad with some balsamic vinegar and a teaspoon of olive oil with tomatoes, onions, sliced peppers, mushrooms, carrots, and some beets on the side. Actually, I did that without the tomatoes today and with some celery and without lettuce for part of my lunch and it was DELICIOUS! Mix it up a bit and make food exciting! It doesn't have to be stressful.

Also, try precooking your meals on the weekends or at nights for the next day. I do this sometimes as I can have little time to cook as well. Or just heat a pan, throw some eggs in there, maybe some spinach, and you're done! Also, avoid sugars and carbs that do absolutely nothing for you. Try getting a better breakfast as well to keep you satiated through the day (eggs are great as well as chicken and beef).

Oh wow! Thanks for the great advice. Definitely notice the lack of veg in my meals overall.

I agree with Eddie ... and the eggs are a great way to start the day. Thats what I do a few days a week... with whatever i have on hand to throw with them. Today I made an omelet with 3 eggs , turkey sausage, cauliflower and a slice of goats milk cheese. sounds alittle odd but it was great and kept me full til lunch. I have actually made egg omelets with chicken and I used any veggies I have on hand ... celery, spinach , peppers , mushrooms ... I usually use up leftovers from dinner this way. Be creative , its whatever you like ... I never make the same omelet twice . And salads are always a winner as well ... thats usually how I pack my lunch for work ... a nice big salad , and when I cook meat for dinner I purposely make extra so that its left for easy lunches. It take planning but once you get into the swing of planning it becomes automatic.
