I'm starting to feel like I'm getting no where fast right now. I gained a pound but that's because I ended up starting my period this afternoon after I weighed in this morning. I just feel like the last month I will lose a pound or 2 and then I end up gaining it right back and i cant get under the 187.4 pounds I weighed in last Saturday morning which happens to be the lowest I've been in many years.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I've even tried changing my routine up some in both exercise and in food but nothing seems to be working for me. I feel like I've hit a plateau and I need help. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? I'm also on a very extreme tight budget money wise till my hours pick back up at work so I know I can't go out and buy a bunch of good food since sadly I can't afford it right now. So any ideas on a very low budget ideas would help.

Log all of your foods here. Then you can better observe your patterns, and some of the savants here can take a look and weigh in with more personalized, structured advice.

Oh cherylekitchner if you don't log all the food you eat in how do you know what is going on...no one can help you either...just wasting your time on your diet...if you get serious that is part of the program so don't be lazy about it...take the time just like Kpw says...log all you eat. you cant drive a car without a steering wheel can you. half a job will never lose weight. logging food is so important.

Logging DOES really help in a lot of ways. As Kpw says people may have suggestions once they see what kind of foods you're tending to eat right now. And please don't feel like you're going to have to go out and restock your kitchen. Please know too that there are a LOT of options open to you. LCHF and Keto are some of the things people are doing here...but there are a LOT of options depending on your budget and what really makes your body feel good. Hang in there. The beginning part of the learning curve for what our bodies like can be tricky sometimes!
