Still flat line. Not even a fraction of a pound different. I cut the calories right down for the last two weeks. No over eating. I stayed tight within the target. Logged every item. I felt hungry every night and I didn't fall into the temptation of eating to fill that gap. However, no change in weight. Some pics of typical lunches from the past week:

Maybe too many carbs?

I read somewhere that when we eat over a certain amount of sugar (35g maybe?) it keeps us from loosing even if under the proper calorie amount. Also I see a lot of white flour and that was always bad for me.

I need whatever is in pic # 4. My numbers stall when I overload on processed carbs, too. Also check for hidden sugars in sauces. If you are not preparing the food it's hard to account for unknown. Best wishes and happy diet tweaking until you find what works for you!

My observation is a great deal of sodium and sugar in those foods. That may be the stall.

Might be time to change up what you are eating, add some different exercises, and drink a lot of water. Good luck!

Good observations shared here. I agree with their ideas.

I love the foods in your photo, but can't eat it to often. To many MSGs; not good for heart and cause water retention.

If you can, try to at least get whole-grain carbs like brown rice. More filling and a tad bit healthier. But yea, almost all of those would be a "splurge" meal for me

are those home made or commercially prepared? I am guessing sodium and MSG in the sauce plus the carbs. but the food looks sooooo yummy

If those lunches were your only meal on those day, then maybe you can lose weight eating this stuff. From somebody who eats anything and everything, if you came away without a gain from eating like that (no judgement from me), you were fortunate!

can you make any of these dishes to control sugar, salt and carbs?

I'm curious that several comments talk about MSG and sodium. Chinese food in America is not the same thing as Chinese food in China. Some things might have MSG here, but it isn't that common. You are all right about the carbs. These are, in fact, the low carb options. Those are half portions of rice. Most people eat double that amount of rice and have rice for breakfast and dinner too.

Living in Hawaii for 15 years, All this food brought back so many delicious memories...they look fab, I can almost smell them! Are you eating enough calories? If you cut too drastically, your body willl hold on to weight. I know you are active...And maybe just at a plateau...Good luck buddy...the sun is coming up and I gotta get out for a walk!
