Jules_Mama's Logboek, 01 feb 08

I kept messing up on the first two weeks and so I started the first phase of the diet again on Wednesday and so far my only mess up was a tootsie roll so I think I'm doin pretty good.
78,9 kg Tot nu toe verloren: 4,5 kg.    Nog te gaan: 13,2 kg.    Dieet gevolgd: Redelijk Goed.

Just try to remember how important it is for the overall success of the SB plan to not give into any cravings for 14 days. I am serious when I tell you that if you don't give in, in about 4-5 days those cravings start going away. After the 14 days you'll be AMAZED at how those cravings are gone and you can then handle the rest of the plan so much easier. When you crave something, just try a SB item that will be close to what it is your craving. If it's a sweet tooth that gets ya, try that ricotta cheese treat on the born to be wild challenge recipe post going on right now. So many people are saying how it gets rid of the sweet tooth and yet it's totally 100% SB approved. When I crave burgers, I eat a Boca burger with 2% cheddar cheese melted on it, lettuce, onion tomato, avocado and a little salsa and no bun...I totally get rid of that craving, feel very satisfied and oh YUMMY is that good and 100% SB approved! any support that you need is here on this site...we have all been through it and understand the cravings and the withdrawls...just remember that the better/skinnier/heathlier you is more important than that tootsie roll...

It could be that you are just not ready for the full on diet and should ease into it. Start at Phase 2. I know I have started and stopped several times over the past year and finally decided to do it. Two weeks before I started I ate what I wanted and started eliminating (=eating, lol) what was in my pantry that was not SB approved. A week before I officially started I began eating salads for lunch, I did not make a carb option for dinner a few nights and I started avoiding sweets a little. By the time I was suppose to start I was in the right fram of mind and did not feel as overwhelmed or deprived as I did when I tried to start before. No worries! You will get and the pounds will come off!
