Iam feeling somewhat unsure about the weight watchers point system. I have been having to add food at night to reach my points. Then my calorie intake is more than I like. hmmmmmmm. Is this point system forcing me to eat more?

sometimes the point system does force you to eat more than you think you should. However, the idea is that you eat enough to get vitamins, minerals, and a feeling of satisfaction. You should be able to live on Weight Watchers for the rest of your life, so the idea is that you learn to eat filling foods, satisfying portions, and healthy choices. I would say add more veggies, but you seem to be doing well, losing, right? So it seems to be working for you!

I'm not familiar w/WW, but is does it allow you to use more of the points earlier in the day instead of at night? That way if you have to increase calories you can perhaps burn some off by night time. That would be better than more calories at night and sleeping on it.

WW point system is base on a lot of things, one being a person's current weight. As you lose weight, you lose points and go down in points. The more you weigh, (technically) the more you can eat and still lose. If you have trained your body to lose on higher calories, and you plateau, you can cut calories. If you train your body to lose on 1000, you don't have room to cut much in the caloric department, because then your body doesn't get the nutrition it needs. Give the plan a try. Eat your dailies and see what happens. To me, it's better to enjoy food and life and eat every point you can (and lose). As you lose weight, you might be wanting those points back.
