I ran a 10K this weekend and logged my fasted 10K time ever. I was also 4 minutes faster than a 10K that I ran just 2 weeks prior. Shedding weight is directly correlating to faster per mile paces. At 230 - I could only run 11:15min/mile and now I am cruising 9:45 over 10K. Regular training is a part of it for sure but I don't feel like I am putting in too much more effort, just going faster.

BolderBoulder this weekend burned almost 2000 calories in one day between the 10K and the re-walk of the course with the family. The challenge is keeping up the running and calorie tracking now that the motivating event is over.

Running is wonderful and training for an event like a 10K is a great motivator. Got out for another four mile hard run today and it felt like I was torching calories long into the evening after the run. For some reason these runs suppress my appetite to the point were a reasonable meal is all I need to keep me satisfied. All over goodness.

A great food and exercise day. I ran stronger and faster than I have in 3 years and I followed it up by eating a very healthy dinner. I am getting to the point where I feel my body transforming as I lose weight and gain muscle through the long fast runs.
