5 weeks of traveling and general break from life. Did reasonably well - my goal was to NOT gain weight, and I lost 4 lbs. Stuck to exercising a minimum of 3-4 days a week. Ate a lot of Thai, Indian, and Ethiopian food. This part was not so healthy but whatever. I was on vacation! Did a lot of swimming and sunbathing. I don't think sunbathing burned very many calories tho. Getting over a minor (very minor) setback of a cold. I should be back on my feet and ready to pound the gym starting next week.

Yahoo! I might have broken through this plateau after all. I was getting super frustrated, but I tinkered with my diet. I cut out yogurt & flaxseed. Too high in fat and carbs. I will add them back later on when I reach my goal for nutritional purposes, but I may be lactose intolerant and it may have impeded my progress. I swear God was testing my resolve. I did not falter. Yay me!!!!

Felt a little defeated today. And then talked to some motivating people on FS and I feel better. Went and did legs today and 35 minutes of HIIT on one of the elliptical machines. It was good. I burned a lot of calories. It was a machine I hadn't used before so my muscles were a bit tripped out. The wrist is slowly but surely getting better. It was a smart call on not using it at all. I can't wait to be able to do deadlifts again. My favorite. I love how my back and my butt burns after doing them.
Increasing protein day #2. I feel fuller, strangely. The whey protein helps. After workout and right before bed.
I hadn't realized how much fat I was actually consuming. I am switching to boiled eggs for breakfast now. And egg whites for in-between meals. No cheese for a while.
Still sweating after workout. So unsightly...lol. I envy pretty girls who stay pretty even after working out. I am not one of those. I turn beet red and I look like I have no eye brows. Where do they go? I really do have them. I also swell up for some reason. How do they manage to not have their make up run while sweating?? It's a mystery.

I'm gonna have to start changing things up a bit. I think my body's gotten used to the routine I had going. Maybe I need to try different types of cardio. I switched up my calories but I still feel the same way. I can feel that I haven't been losing much weight at all. Problem is that my wrist injury pretty much limits what I can do with my arms. Good thing my schedule's about to change and I'll be on the road. Maybe I should try different machines.
Another successful day of spinning, but like I said, my body is getting used to it. I need to find some other way to bring the pain, lol!!
Gonna load up more on protein and cut back on fat. Let's see if that does the trick.
