Now I know why all the muscle-dudes at the gym grunt so much. That's right! I've become a GRUNTER myself, LOL. When pushing to the max, sometimes one just cannot help it. I'm trying to not use my wrist at all so that it can heal, so I did just lower body weights. Since there are limited number of machines that does not require the use of my hands, I did extra sets. 35 minutes total.

Seated leg press 80, 90, 100, 120, 80
Leg extension 35, 45, 55, 60, 35
Leg curl 40, 45, 50, 60, 40
Calf press 60, 70, 80, 100, 60

And then I went and did 20 minutes of HIIT on the treadmill. Every time I do it, I want to die. But I feel good afterwards. And actually, changing the speed and effort level at every minute keeps things less boring. Gawd I hate cardio machines. They. Are. Boring. 20 minutes is doable though. Not too shabby.

I can feel myself getting stronger every day. I feel muscle in areas where I've never had before. For instance, I've never had hamstring muscles so tight before. Let's hope all this effort pays off soon.

I've increased my calories today too. I'm not losing fast enough. Tomorrow I get to eat carbs. Yay!!! My one day of treat. What should I have?? Oh the choices....

My life is cardio. Did 45 minutes of HIIT on the treadmill today. Pushed my heart-rate to 97% of my maximum. I (still) feel a little nauseous. That's probably not so good. But I feel like I accomplished something. My heart rate monitor says I burned 587 calories. Wowza! Hopefully the after-burn will burn even more calories. Two hours later and my face is still flushed.

My shirt was soaked through, my pants were soaked through. That part was a little embarrassing, but meh. Whatever. I find that I can push harder when I don't watch the attached tv on the treadmill. I just put on my headset, turned on some trance music and just kept running. By the way, turning up that incline and running made it that much harder. Recovery time took longer than usual. But that's how I get better and better.

Every day, keep pushing forward. Never look back.
