Yesterday I had a bit of a rough day which affected my eating, too. Instead of having a good dinner when I got home, I finished off a box of cookies and a bag of tortilla chips. :( I went to see a late-night movie, and I opted to NOT get any popcorn or pop, so at least I didn't COMPLETELY lose control!

Today is my second weigh-in with the girls at work. My mini-goal was to lose 0.8 lbs to put me at an even 208lb. Clearly, I blew that one out of the water because this morning I am at 204.8lb! That's even after gaining a bit from yesterday, but I'm sure that's probably related to my haywire period (I have PCOS) which chose to start again yesterday afternoon. Figures!
I set up a personal challenge for myself on the FatSecret website which starts today; to lose a pound a week until my birthday at the end of September. I could only set it up for a max of 12 weeks, so I'll be setting up "Phase II" of the challenge later on. That being said, my next mini-goal with the girls is to reach 203.8lb by next Tuesday.

I started May 5th with a few other women from work. We are keeping each other accountable with our goals and progress. When we did our first weigh-in on Tuesday, I weighed 208.8lbs. I've weighed myself just now to start on the website (I couldn't figure out if it would let me back-date) and I clock in at 205.2! I'm surprised by my results, but naturally pleased. My first mini-goal with the girls is to reach 208.0 at our next weigh-in date, and I seem to be off to a great start. I do have a barbecue to go to this weekend, so I think that will be the most challenging thing I have to overcome this week.
My ultimate goal is to be a size 9 (US/Canada) or 130lbs, whichever comes first. I will be well within the range of being healthy (according to the BMI for my height) once I attain that goal.
I'm hoping to lose the first 20lbs by my birthday, September 30th. At roughly 4lbs/month that is definitely a reasonable and attainable goal!
