So I got some pretty bitter tasting news regarding my health on Thursday and have been instructed not to do anything strenuous for a week or so. Also ended up with some stitches that I'm supposed to keep clean for a few days before even breaking into too much of a sweat - so training is pretty much non existent for a bit. Add to that the weekend's holiday celebration and my mental state has just not been there to continue to track my numbers. Getting back into it today, but depending on tests that I have to go through this coming week - I am not sure how persistent I will be until I have a better picture of my future health.
Just wanted to put this in the record, for myself more than anything.

OK - Kidney stone is no stone. It turns out I have injured my back - two bulging discs and some thinning on one of the vertebrae. I was involved in a car accident that herniated the same two discs while in college and it seems I've tweaked them again. SO headed in for an MRI and consultation next Monday to get that checked out.
Training staying the same but going light on back stressing work and eliminating poor form/posture/sitting as much as possible.
So gaining 1 pound this week means quite literally nothing to me lol I'm still under goal, and my measurements are actually down in areas I would want to decrease (waist, etc) and up in areas I want to gain (arms, etc). Need to get a bodyfat % measurement device of some sort, whether calipers or a scale - less interested in complete accuracy and more interested in precision so I can track the trend.
Suggestions?

Still fighting this kidney stone. Heading for a CT scan today to see if it needs to be broken up.
On the bright side, I've kept up with training and have only slightly screwed up my nutrition over the past week. Doc says to cut back on the protein intake until the stone passes. Bummer, there.
Weight stayed the same. Measurements stayed the same on day 30 of this workout program as day 1 except for some gains in chest and quad size. Arms/calves/waist remained the same.

Yesterday afternoon I was relatively sure I tweaked my back in some way. I went on and did my workout anyway (chest routine) and all was well. Pain and discomfort was still there but not debilitating in any way, just dull and annoying.
Today - crushing pain throughout my lower back. All morning I was convinced I had pulled something or torqued an old disc injury from college during one of my workouts. That is UNTIL around lunch time when the pain shifted into my hip, lower abdomen, and sporadicly down into my man bits. Friends and family, one of which is an MD, have suggested kidney stone. So THAT'S fun.
Needless to say, training will suffer for the next couple of days. Blaaaaargh!
