BOOM goes the dynamite! LOL Knew that was coming. Huge weekend eating splurge mixed with the addition of some new supplements to help out with my weight lifting program (preworkout with creatine, post workout whey, nighttime casein) has me carrying a little extra this morning :) No worries. Still under 175 and I would imagine I'm better hydrated than my last weigh in as well.

My birthday weekend = nutritional freight train derailment. I could say I was weak or gave in to peer pressure but that would be lying. I ate and drank what I wanted, when I wanted, and continued to exercise and do strenuous labor around the house/yard. We had 3 celebrations, one as a date night for my wife and I, one with friends coming over for BBQ and beer in the back yard, and one at my mom's for homemade fried chicken and fixin's by the pool.
I regret nothing. :)
My daily intake will swing back into the normal position in the coming week and my workouts will continue as normal, 5 on 1 off currently. I will be recalculating my RDI soon to maintain my current weight and better mesh with the nutritional recommendations of the body beast program I started. I don't plan to follow the calorie suggestions all that strictly, as I honestly don't think I require quite as many as they suggest (personal past experience with nutrition during heavy lifting cycles), but if I find myself needing more to feel right or if I start losing unnecessary weight then I will adjust again.
I expect a flat weigh in this week, or possibly even a gain. I'm ok with that. My goal was 175 after all, and I've dropped 6 lbs under that. Now I'd like to pack on a few lbs of muscle that I've lost since college and strip away a few body fat percentage points.
Here's to another year, healthier than the last.

Was not expecting to drop under 170 lbs. I honestly haven't weighed under 175 since middle school and at 5'10", this is about as low as I care to go. Time to ramp up the calories in order to match the expenditure.
Started Body Beast on Monday. Solid lifting routine so far, and I enjoy lifting weights again. After I wrap this up I plan to go with just a general lifting/cardio schedule, maybe something along the lines of crossfit but without the my impact kipping and such.
New goal is 10% bodyfat, not so concerned with weight any more but 10% BF at 165-175lbs would suit me just fine.
