Two weeks into this now. Second week was a 2.4 lb loss which is what I was expecting. I am running, eating well and feeling real good. No beer in these two weeks although I did have a few wines last weekend - my reward!
I am now starting to look at how my clothes fit me, I think I counted 19 pairs of work trousers, I have about 5 that fit me today, I sorted them in how many inches to go (5 being the most). The goal is to get into all these, but give to charity all the ones on the middle and right.

Well folks here is my first weigh in - 207.2 (a loss of 5.8 lbs) which is just great. Of course I don't expect to lose that every week or else I would weigh zero by about October which would not be good!
I think I will be happy with a more moderate weight loss of 2 - 3 lbs next week.

Four days into my diet so far, it has been easy with the food. I am eating a 100% vegan diet, but my diet has often been that before. What is difficult is no alcohol, especially on a Friday and Saturday night when I am used to going out and having a few drinks. I have been good, I have not snacked, just the regular means. I know I have lost a few pounds, but I don't want to officially weigh myself in yet until I know for certain that the loss is real. I may start the aerobic exercise in the gym tomorrow if not too busy. Speaking of busy, I have been keeping myself occupied, especially round 'happy' hour time by learning to play the ukulele.

Weight not going down but maintained - still toning up so feeling really good, fit and healthy!

Well, the weight went up this week - probably because of all the extra weight training I have been doing. We did a good (long) session with our personal trainer (Kip) on Thursday. In addition to this, due to a hamstring pull I was not able to run for 5 days this week (Friday to Friday). Also went out and Tuesday (Pat's friends) and Wednesday - drunk way too much. Need to cut out alcohol Monday through Thursdays.
So, weight went up, but it will be down next week - I am sure of that.
