slowly but surely moving downwards. Had a rough week with the cold from hell. I still managed to win the work week hustle on my fit bit group and came in with 100k in steps for the 5 days. I was hoping to sweat out the cold LOL. Anyhoo, not really feeling like meal prep today but I know better. Im challenging myself to a salad a day all this week for lunch bc Im slacking on my veggies. Since I have DH aboard I am going with a "theme" SO chef's for Monday, Italian for Tuesday, Cesar for Wednesday, Greek for Thursday and wedge for Friday. I think its a good plan. Got all the salad fixings today. Tonite Im making steak and a blue cheese salad. Just need to fry my bacon 1st lol. Welp, Here's the "list" for this week.. now Im feeling better, its doable.
1. 5 days/ 5 work outs. weights at least 3 times and ABS. dont get lazy on the crunches.
2. Make my meals ahead. Last week I did prep and didnt put any meals together bc I felt like crap.. and I had to throw away salad mix .. :-(
3. Water water water 3 x32 oz bottles and try and get one down before work (at 930, I wake up at 5am )
4. LOG MY MEALS FOR REAL THIS TIME.stop being so lazy here.. and stop making excuses
5. Stay on track..I could be losing so much more if I applied myself..
6. Stay positive.. have a good attitude. No whiny or complaining. Take care of myself... do the little things like fix my hair or iron my shirt or do my eyebrows hahaha.
I hope every one has a blessed Sunday and a wonderful work week. Every on on this site that comments or post or supports really keep me going during the week and keep me grounded. Im grateful for all of you ! Have a great rest of your day today !

barely logged anything this week.. Ive been sicker than sick and just barley surviving work. Ive gotten some decent work outs between feeling like crap bc it comes and goes but last night was the worst. DH went and got me a bunch of stuff and babied me.. so today I am working from home and feeling some what decent. I did not meet my goals to log this week but i didnt really cheat other than on the 14th I didnt have some Chinese at work and a few brownies. Weight is holding strong at 199 and if dont lose this week, Im ok with that bc I have basically been in bed for most of the week. Work, bed, walk if its a good day. Its just you run of the mill cold/allergy crap and DH called it, we get sick about once a year and this is prolly it. At least its not the flu. Since Im working at home, gonna focus on getting my step goal - 11k and work on my diet. I had some veg soup last night that was kinda high in carbs - 13 net. Wanna work that off. Gonna weigh in tomorrow at dr's office when I get my weekly allergy shot. BOO. Here's to Friday.. hope everyone has a good one! Lets make this weekend count. Imma try a new class or yoga if I feel better.. Cheers everyone !

woke up today with a awesome sore throat... uck. You know the itchy, scratchy kind what keeps you coughing up phlegm. Ya that one. Started Saturday and has just gotten worst. Im lucky to have the opportunity to work from home. I usually do now on Tuesdays so I just asked the boss lady to let me switch my day. Needless to say, the dizzy, weak sick feeling my body has kept me in bed today so no gym. But, Im hoping to shake it off and maybe get a brisk walk in today somewhere, anywhere. I have some left over ground sirloin that I was gonna try and turn into a low carb vegetable beef soup. Ive done it before and its not half bad. I did not do much prep this Sunday bc DH grilled a metric ton of chicken and beef fajitas, chicken legs and sausage since he work 2/14,we did our Valentines date already. Friday we went out and Saturday we cooked out. And DH being the best hubby ever got me a salad spinner among other things. Ive always wanted one just never actually made an effort to get one. So since I got that, of course i went out and got a bunch of lettuce. So grilled protein and lettuce is on the menu for a few days hehe. Here's my list for the week:
1. Don't get cocky. I have a bad habit of this when I lose some weight or achieve a goal..I let it go to my head and then I eat crap.. a victory is not a reason to go crazy on the cookies.
2. Stick with the fiber, leafy green veggies and lots of water.. gotta keep on movin.. lol
3. 5 work outs this week.. personal goal of 25 k in steps on a single day (top #of steps is 22-23 k). Even if I dont get it, at least try...
4. Log everything .. probably the hardest thing to do these days.
5. Stay positive. Be grateful for what I have and look to the future when feeling doubtful.. see myself where I can be if I just work hard... then actually do it..
